  • Holger Michael - FORUM FOUNDER

    Holger Michael is the former Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Bangladesh, Malaysia, and to the Caribbean.

    Holger started his career in 1979 at the Federal Foreign Office with various postings in Turkey, Central America, Germany, HongKong, and Thailand. He predominantly supports in the area of Foreign Trade and Business Relationships for the Asian and European markets.

    He is a fellow at the Weatherhead Institute, Harvard University, and holds an MBA from Cologne University. Holger is based in Berlin and Düsseldorf.

  • Daniel Seidl - FORUM FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Daniel Seidl has 25 years of experience in Asia and lived more than a decade in different countries in the Bay of Bengal region. As the Executive Director of the Bangladesh German Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Senior Advisor of the leading global business association for sustainable trade, he has been strengthening the economic ties between Europe and Asia. Daniel has hosted numerous high-level business delegations and events, including the Honorable Prime Minister Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, the President of the Federal Republic of Germany.

    Daniel worked previously as anchorman for CNN-Germany and Marketing Director for the National Football League in Europe. He launched the nationwide sales of the car-flag for the FIFA World Cup 2006. Daniel is the author of the book "50 years of Bangladesh" and holds an MBA from the private University Witten/Herdecke, where he received a stipend for a project at Harvard University.

  • Tanzer Siddique - FORUM DIRECTOR DHAKA, BANGLADESH

    Tanzer Siddique has 15 years of experience in consulting, research, and managing events. He is running the office in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and supports our clients/members regarding investment opportunities in the Bay of Bengal region.

    Previously Tanzer was the Head of Trade Promotion and Membership at the Bangladesh German Chamber of Commerce and Industry supporting the German Government, German Development Partners, the European Union, and well-known consultancy companies and foundations from Europe, USA, and the Bay of Bengal region. Tanzer has contributed the local research for the book "50 years of Bangladesh".

    Tanzer completed his Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics from the Rajshahi University, Bangladesh, with honors and is co-author of several publications in international scientific journals.

    Robert Wooler is a nonprofit thought leader, strategist, and fund development professional with 45 years of executive experience in the nonprofit sector in the United States.

    His management experience involves the sectors of education, child welfare, health care, economic development, housing, historic preservation, and arts and culture, plus a decade devoted to teaching the best nonprofit management practices. Personal focus areas include writing, branding and marketing, program evaluation, and developing collaborative approaches to problem solving.

    Robert holds Master’s degrees from Brandeis University and Yale University and a Bachelors degree from Colgate University. Robert is based in New York.
